I am a doctorally prepared, ANCC Board Certified, Psychiatric Advanced Registered Nurse Practitioner (ARNP) practicing since 2010. I earned a bachelor’s degree in psychology and a certificate in women’s studies at Florida Atlantic University in 1999. I later earned a RN/BSN equivalent in 2004 and a master’s in community health nursing in 2006 from Pacific Lutheran University. I earned a master’s in psychiatric mental health nursing in 2010 and a doctor of nursing practice in 2012 at the University of Washington. As a registered nurse, I worked for Public Health - Seattle & King County for about 8 years. As a psychiatric nurse practitioner, I have worked at a group practice. Then I worked at Opal: Food + Body Wisdom for about 4 years focusing on coming alongside people recovering from difficulties with their relationship with food, body and movement. Since 2015, I've been in private practice and am grateful for the flexibility it provides to work with people in the ways I/we think could be most helpful.
